Travel By Bus |
| Buses run virtually every hour between Chiang Mai Arcade Bus Station and Bangkok’s Mo Chit Station, with the first bus leaving at 5.30 and the last at 22.00. The journey takes 10-12 hours. The 24 seat air-con buses with more leg room are the most comfortable. It’s probably a good idea to bring a sweater or a jacket as it can get chilly when the air-con is on. Chiang Mai also has good bus connections to practically everywhere in the north, and major destinations in the north-east. |
